The Adriatic sea is a 20 minute drive from the trulli houses. You can choose between sandy beaches or rocky coves, or simply stroll around the little fishing ports. All lidos have handy bars selling drinks, rolls and ice-creams.

You can eat in the many fish restaurants along the coast or buy it in Savelletri and take it home to barbeque or fry. September means huge fat tuna fish bought up by local families who then bottle it.
